Lisa Claire Greene (LCG) (b. 1993 Seattle, WA) is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist working in sound, performance, writing, and drawing. They attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a BA in Visual and Critical Studies. With a focus on world-building and the deployment of different characters, their work blends multiple media in order to contextualize current emotional and political events with anthropological inquiry. By outsourcing seemingly disparate topics, the artist synthesizes meaning through overlapping trends, forming insights and elucidating critique through both solo and collaborative projects. Due to the shifting nature of the work, LCG has shown in diverse locales, including music venues, DIY spaces, apartments, galleries, and art fairs in Chicago, Mexico City, and Bogotá, Colombia. They are currently an artist in residence at {\}() {\}∆+!(){\} art lab.
